Mutts claim first PNT while Westside go back-to-back at F32

Well the weather gods returned to us for yesterday’s Fistivus XXXII, with the monsoon being forecast early in the week turning out to be just a couple of spits of rain and an otherwise dry (although cold and blustery) day.

In the men’s division it was a breakthrough day for the Mutts FC who finally broke their duck and claimed their first Peter Norman Trophy after surviving an early scare in their final game against the Bay City Fisters.

The Mutts also picked up the daily double with Matt Richards taking home the Best & Fistest for the men’s division.

In the mixed division the Westside Wombats continued their unbeaten start to the season to retain the Kerryn McCann Trophy, whilst Kevin Roberts of LionStorm took home the mixed division Best & Fistest trophy.

Following Fistivus was the running of the 4th Annual FiFA Trivia Night Fundraiser at the Kingston Hotel in Richmond with another great night had by all and some valuable funds raised for the Women’s World Championships. A big thanks to all those who donated goods and their time and effort to help in making this night possible.

The next event on the FiFA calendar is Fistivus XXXIII on Saturday June 2 to be hosted by the reigning champion Mutts FC, keep an eye out for the event with more details to be posted in the coming days.

As always… FIST ON!!!
