Want to try your closed hand at fistball? All you need is at least one fist and 4 other mates to make up a team. The national competition – the Victorian Fistball League (VFL) – operates out of the Greater Melbourne area, and currently has 7 regular teams, but there is still room for extra teams to join.
The league runs for the full year with currently 7 tournaments per year making up the schedule, roughly 5-8 weeks between each round (with a short break mid-year). New clubs are welcome to join mid-season, and most players will find the learning curve incredibly easy to follow.

While Fist HQ is in Melbourne, we would be chuffed to hear from potential affiliate clubs in other states and territories, and any new establishments will have the full support – both with teaching and supplying of equipment – of the Fistball Federation of Australia. All we demand is enthusiasm, and both a love and respect of the fist.
